Bishopsland

After finishing my degree at Edinburgh, I knew that if I tried to do a postgraduate, I would not have been happy, nor come out with a good grade. Nova Scotia really did change how I learned, and the kind of research output I generated, which is so, so important to the course specs Edinburgh is known for, was terrible to say the least.

I decided then and there that a Masters was not for me. Bishopsland offered me an experience that you won’t find anywhere else. It allowed me to really hone in on what I want to be known for. It gave me the breathing space to just focus on making, on building a collection and to gain professional and business experience. Bishopsland also gave me a community of friends and people that I can always ask for help and advice. The memories I gained are moments that I will always treasure and look back on. I don’t regret a single thing during my time there, and I think it is amazing that such an organisation exists in the UK. I am proud to call myself a Fellow <3
