Week 9: Still panicking but having fun

As I mentioned in my last post, I went to the Imany concert on Monday evening. I didn’t know much about this artist beforehand, but I love her vibes and how she can create such expression and energy through her music and dance. I have also never been to a concert before, and I am really glad that I made this my first - it was all amazing ❤️‍🔥 Women Deserve Rage ❤️‍🔥

This week was much the same as the past several. I am definitely making headway with the workload I need to finish before leaving, but I have an internal deadline that I am not sure I will meet. 😬 Have you done gold-plating before? Several of the pieces I need to send off for this are for commissions here in Athens, so I have to do it while I am here. I also need to continue the silver chain for my donation piece, so these are my top priorities right now.

This weekend, there was another festival - the Japan Festival at Peristeri Exhibition Centre in Anthoupoli. There were a lot of different things going on and performances, too. And I bought so many things… one of particular note: Greek honey infused with matcha. Now, for any matcha enthusiasts out there, you know that the matcha needs to be good quality, so I was very sceptical at first. For one, was the matcha used actually any good and two, the combination. We couldn’t sample the product beforehand, so I went in blind purchasing a jar, but I can safely say that it is nice. It is very interesting and grows on you 🌱

All in all, it was a normal week: the typical work grind. I am glad that I got a substantial amount of work done, and the panicky feelings have slightly subsided…but I am still panicked. Love the creative workholic mindset, am I right 🤪
