Week 6: Halfway there!

It definitely does not feel like I have been here for six weeks already. Is there a way I can stay longer?

This week I had a lot of fun. I did some more cuttlefish casting. I tried to cast a Chinese knot like the one in the gallery below, which turned out to be a failure (lol). I knew it wasn’t going to work, and it didn’t, but oh well. You live, and you learn. I also made a cast based on my silhouette motif, which did turn out as I hoped, and I took these and my first cast from last week to make moulds, so in next week’s post, you will see all my new babies!

I explored the National Gardens, and the week ended pretty social. I went to a bar with the other international resident, Paloma. There was live music, and people were dancing. It was so energetic and lively, there’s no way you weren’t dancing a little in your seat.

And I also went to ‘Oenorama’ which is the world’s largest Greek wine exhibition. Certainly not the best idea to be drinking at 10am, but it was really cool and I did learn a lot. There was also an oyster bar (6 for 20€, they were lush) a coffee stand, merch and a loooot of wine 🍷. So yeah, an overall fun week ♥
